We have also provided a human performance and neuro-ergonomic assessment of personnel and equipment respectively, given our extensive expertise in human factors, neuroscience and neuro-imaging.

We have previously performed assessment of operators, work place and environmental factors that could adversely effect shipping duties. Machine learning methods along with ANOVA studies can give an accurate evaluation of human error probability given a specific scenario.
We have performed assessments of operators using neurophysiological activation techniques allowing companies to choice which person is better suited to a certain role or as a job interview-based exercise.

Dr Steve Symes created the consultancy in 2018. He completed an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering with the university of Liverpool before completing his masters and PhD in maritime engineering and technology at Liverpool John Moores University. He was awarded the Gordon Roberson award for best overall performance in his maritime engineering degree.
Dr Edward Shaw is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of SS Trident. He completed his Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in maritime engineering and technology at Liverpool John Moores University. He has completed many projects including writing his own maritime risk-based regulatory standards and a safety and efficacy assessment of the Uraduct deep sea cable using CFD and CAD.
